Erik Anderson

President & CEO

Erik Anderson is the president and chief executive officer at Moder. Erik’s extensive background in the mortgage industry gives him deep insight into how to successfully navigate its ever-changing landscape. Prior to joining Moder, Erik was the chief operating officer at MAXEX, where he grew and supported market momentum for the first on-demand mortgage exchange for whole loans. During his three-plus years as CEO of Sourcepoint, Erik assembled a team that delivered a fivefold increase in revenue, added 2,700 associates, and launched new offices and business lines globally. His tenure at Sourcepoint led to the 13 most profitable quarters in the company’s history. Erik is a dynamic, results-oriented executive and board member with significant experience scaling organizations in high-growth environments.

Rock Primas

SVP, Sales & Client Success

Rock Primas is the senior vice president of Sales and Client Success at Moder. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Moder sales team, as well as insuring the overall health and success of all existing Moder client relationships. Rock joined Moder with more than 25 years of mortgage experience. He spent the majority of his career at PHH Mortgage and Freedom Mortgage, serving in roles such as Vice President of Sales & Account Management and Senior Vice President of Call Center Sales & Business development. The majority of his career has been focused on nurturing and growing 3rd party client relationships and he's earned a reputation as a "trusted partner". Rock also holds the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation and takes pride in mentoring young professionals in the mortgage industry.

Joe Trapani

SVP, Chief Technology Officer

Joe Trapani is the chief technology officer at Moder. Joe joined Moder with more than a decade of experience in information technology, focusing on databases, analytics, web development, and serverless cloud computing. Before joining Moder, Joe was the vice president of architecture at MAXEX, responsible for product strategy, data, security, and technology. Joe’s former roles include cloud solutions and data architect at Revel Systems and enterprise data architect at Critical Mix, as well as leading the business intelligence and database development teams for MovieTickets.com. With deep knowledge and a wide breadth of experience in the cloud, proven by his multiple AWS certifications, Joe can easily craft seamless user experiences that delight any consumer. His product management skills are best highlighted by his passion for people over process, as he diligently works to ensure the best teams, culture, and standards within an organization.

Matt Mesmer

SVP, General Counsel & CCO

Matt Mesmer is the senior vice president, general counsel, and chief compliance officer at Moder, where he is responsible for leading the company’s global legal functions. Matt utilizes his law degree and background to offer ultimate oversight for all legal support to Moder and the rest of Archwell’s family of companies. He leads a team of contract management, litigation, claims, and compliance professionals. Before joining Moder, Matt was the general counsel, deputy general counsel, and associate general counsel for compliance with Sourcepoint, a third-party service provider to the mortgage industry, for nine years. Prior to his work in the mortgage industry, Matt served as counsel and director of education and training to the United States Senate Select Committee on Ethics, and as an associate in the complex commercial litigation department of the law firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP, in Washington, DC. Matt volunteers his time serving on the Foreign Licensing Working Group of the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators and is a member of the State Legislative and Regulatory Committee (SLRC) of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).

Gnana Giri

SVP, India Country Leader

GnanaGiri (Giri) is the senior vice president of strategic initiatives at Moder. Giri has more than a decade of mortgage industry experience in handling business excellence, corporate strategy, and profitability management. Before joining Moder, Giri was the vice president of strategy and business excellence at Firstsource, where he headed the control function for overseas strategic business initiatives and drove business and financial performance. Prior to Firstsource, he was the director of business excellence at ISGN, managing strategic planning, board and investor relationships, and revenue and profitability initiatives.

Roshan Sethi

SVP, Head of Global Operations

Roshan Sethi is the senior vice president and head of global operations. In this role, he assists Moder and its key partners with strategic projects. With over 20 years in the mortgage industry, Roshan was with Sourcepoint most recently where he led their servicing operations globally, which accounted for >$100MM in annual revenue. He previously worked with Tata Consultancy Services and Ocwen Loan Servicing where he helped build, expand, and manage large offshore teams.

Amy Costa

SVP, Solutions & Enterprise PMO

Amy Costa is the senior vice president of solutions at Moder, where she focuses on creating optimal solutions for Moder clients. With over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry in a variety of positions, Amy can quickly identify pain points or opportunities and suggest custom solutions to meet a variety of client needs and goals. Prior to joining Archwell in 2022, Amy spent several years at PHH Corporation in roles of increasing responsibility in areas including capital markets, sales, operations, and correspondent lending, and ended her career there as SVP, head of portfolio operations, leading the development of PHH’s portfolio division. Amy has extensive experience in pre-sales and sales support as well, so she is keenly focused on client experience during our pursuit process. In both her personal and professional lives, Amy thrives on mentoring and coaching others. She prides herself on her ability to focus on people’s best skills and attributes and to help them grow.
